Derek Brachmann is a Turf Care Operations Manager at Stuart’s Landscaping, where he has been an integral part of the team for 29 years. His expertise spans all aspects of lawn maintenance, from providing quotes for potential clients to scheduling and overseeing six mowing crews. Derek also plays a hands-on role in equipment maintenance, ensuring smooth operations, and often joins crews on-site to maintain properties. In the winter months, he shifts his focus to snow removal, coordinating crews and managing his own snow routes.
Derek’s passion for lawn care began at a young age, mowing neighbors’ yards and gradually developing a deep understanding of property maintenance and aesthetics. Over the years, he has gained valuable skills from industry professionals, allowing him to take on a leadership role while still staying actively involved in fieldwork.
What Derek enjoys most about his job is the ability to work outdoors, transform landscapes instantly, and build relationships with clients. He takes pride in understanding clients’ expectations and delivering exceptional results.
Outside of work, Derek enjoys hunting, camping, hiking, radio-controlled vehicles, football, and music.
